Registration for Manly Warringah Little Athletics opens for the 2017/18 season for returning athletes on 1 August 2017

U6 Pocket Rockets:  
  • Registration for the Pocket Rockets U6 age group will open December 1st 2017 and close 17 Dec (or prior if we reach capacity).

  • Under 6’s are for children born between 1 October 2011 and 30 September 2012

  • Registration is online only and follows the same steps as outlined below - you do not however need to select additional parent duties.

  • Fee for U6 is $85 for 8 weeks of skill development and competition.

  • Competition begins Friday 12th Jan. 2018 from 5:45pm, with the last competition (fun day) Saturday 10th March

  • Competion numbers (bar-coded bib) and a uniform (not compulsory) are to be collected during Saturday morning competition Sat. 16 Dec. 2017 ONLY

  • U6 may attend training at one of the 3 Wednesday night training venues - see competition and training on this website for details.

  • On-line Registrations ONLY for all age groups.

  •  No Registration Days will be held at the Track.

  •  Athletes MUST attend a Competition Pack Collection Day prior to day 1 of competition to receive competition numbers.

  •  All families must choose a Parent Duty via the Manly Warringah website to complete the registration process  (available after Tuesday 8th August 2018)

  •  Selecting “Single Child” family is now an option and will include the parent duty bond.

  • Registrations are to be completed on-line by 9 September 2017 to be eligible to participate in the first week. Registrations in subsequent weeks must be completed by Wednesday evening to be eligible to compete on the Saturday.

  • Competition numbers and age patch will not be distributed at the track in Week 1 and 2. We are too busy!

  • In this Pre-Commonwealth Games Year new athletes can TRIAL for two weeks in weeks 3-5 of competition only and will be referred to as “Trialists”. There is no fee for this however you MUST SIGN IN at the Trial desk each week and receive a temporary number before you enter the Track. Results will not be entered. After two trials you must choose to join Little A's or not. NOTE 1: as age groups reach capacity quickly we cannot guarantee your age group will not close before you decide to join. NOTE 2: Trialist will not be eligibale for representative competition unless they meet ALL Centre criteria.

  • Please note that Registration Fees are non-refundable.  For extreme circumstances, if a refund is approved, a $20 administration fee will apply.  Please speak with your centre first as all centres offer a trial period for new members.  No refunds will be approved if you have already competed and/or you have changed your mind.

To be part of the NSW Little Athletics Association athletes must register with the Manly Warringah Little Athletics Centre via one of the clubs that competes at the Centre. These clubs are:






Registration is open to children in the Under 7 to Under 17 age groups (U6 from Jan 2018). To find out which age group your child is eligible for in the upcoming season, please click here.  

Registration fees 2017/18
(not applicable to U6)

On-line Registration fees for each club for the season are:

First Child: $180

Second and subsequent child: $165

*Parent Duty Bond: $75

*In addition to the registration fee, The Centre (through each club) levies a parent duty bond of $75 per family in order to encourage parents to fulfil their parent duties – just 3 per family per season. This bond is payable at registration and families are eligible for a full refund after completing all duties for the season. Refunds are paid after the end of the season.

Select ONE of the Centre’s FIVE CLUBS – Cromer, Manly, Peninsula, Seaforth or Wakehurst.

Choose your FAMILY TYPE depending on the number of registering athletes in your family. Note: the $75 refundable parent duty bond is included in the FAMILY TYPE fee.

Pay Online Using Credit Card only

Cash and Cheque payments at the Centre will incur a $20 fee per family.




  • PRINT a confirmation of your Parent Duty sign-ups. Your Parent Duty Bond will be eligible to be refunded at the end of the season subject to your family completing all duties.  
  • COLLECT your Competition Numbers, Age Patches and athlete giveaway before competition starts by attending one of the Collection days (see below). To COMPLETE your registration all FAMILIES must attend a COMPETITION PACK COLLECTION DAY prior to the first week of competition. 


A reminder: Due to busy competition morning’s registration numbers are NOT distributed at the Track in the first few weeks of the season.

  3. Proof of Age documents (birth certificate or passport) if your child is a NEW athlete – documents must be seen by the Registrar before an athlete can compete.
